Edward John Jacobs, of Woodbury on Christmas morning, December 25, 2012. Age 92 years. Legacy Ed was a US Army Veteran of WWII, where he played baseball; and he played it well. He played in the minor leagues against players such as Joe DiMaggio and others. Prior to retirement, Ed worked for Owens Corning for many years.
